E-Commerce Sales Support Specialist

REPORTS TO THIS POSITION TITLE  Vice-President of Sales

PURPOSE

The E-Commerce Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the success of Duncan products sold within all E-commerce marketplaces. They will be responsible for optimizing the full product catalog revenue through item setup, validations and proper variations. They will be accountable for managing the e-commerce marketplace compliance requirements and be the cross-functional lead to facilitate customer operational changes and updates. 

POSITION ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING KEY RESULTS

• Live Duncan’s Guiding Principles while helping build our Amazon e-commerce business

• Responsible for supporting all E-commerce marketplaces

• Catalog/Item expert 

• Item setup – Loading new items and product variations

• Validations – make sure new items are loaded and we receive the first order

• Variations are in place and develop a process to regularly review to make sure they have not dropped off

• Remove 3rd party sellers from our listings

• Pricing – Review to confirm customer and Duncan pricing is aligned and dispute pricing claims.

• E-comm Fines / Compliance Expert 

• Deep understanding of the process for fines 

• Research, dispute and mitigate fines

• Cross–functional lead to facilitate necessary changes and implement processes/procedures for fines and shortages.    

• Develop a deep understanding of the complex customer requirements regarding labeling, packaging, shipping  and timelines

• Communicate changes to cross-functional team to avoid fines

• Facilitate the cross-functional team to launch new E-comm customers

• Manual customer inventory feed updates: Zulily event reviews weekly, Amazon Seller Central, EBay

• Brand IP Protection – collaborate with the E-comm Account Manager to facilitate Red Points findings/reviews

• Other job duties as assigned in support of the E-Commerce team

TALENT PROFILE

• Proven ability to be a catalog/item expert

• Strong analytic skills to compare pricing to ensure accuracy for Duncan and its’ customers

• Comfortability with being a compliance expert to dispute E-commerce fines

• Ability to learn and understand complex customer requirements regarding labeling, packaging, shipping and timelines

• Familiarity with managing manual customer inventory feed updates

• Willingness to understand Brand IP protection

• Ability to multi-task, is detail-oriented, self-motivated and self-directed

• Strong organizational, math and comprehension skills

• Excellent communication skills when interacting with team members, vendors and customers

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required 

• 3-5 years retail analytics experience preferred but not required

• E-commerce customer experience 

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
